Stenciled Concrete

Stenciled Concrete was introduced in the early 1980’s as an alternative to pattern stamped concrete. The stenciled is designed to be lightly pressed in the fresh concrete surface or as a template for concrete resurfacing processes. Concrete stencils offer an effective and economical way of creating repeating patterns like brick pattern or stone pattern on concrete slabs such as concrete driveways or concrete patios.

Limited only by your imagination, stenciled concrete is another option for livening up a boring pathway or outdoor living area or creating bespoke flooring in your house or office. It is a highly versatile product, both practical and decorative. It can also be combined with a colour treatment to complement your house or outdoor living area.

Another advantage of Stenciled Concrete is that it can give the appearance of real stone, tile or brick without the higher installation costs and maintenance. It is a cost effective solution to create a decorative concrete finish to your existing concrete areas, as well as newly poured concrete.

In similar process to stamped concrete, stenciled concrete is coloured and protected by several coats of sealer. To keep the stenciled concrete surface looking great, regular maintenance is recommended – scrub with a mild detergent and clean with low-pressure water. To prolong the life of the stenciled concrete, some periodic resealing may be required.
