Terms and Conditions of Service

Quotation

Before any work is commenced a Thundercrete consultant will provide the customer with a formal quotation. This Quotation is valid for 30 days and will be based on the scope of works outlined in the quotation. Any variance to the quotation due to customer related changes or requests not outlined in the supplied quotation, will incur additional fees and a new quotation will be provided to the customer.

To schedule the quoted project – the quotation must be sign and returned to Thunderecrete along with the deposit payment.

Once the signed quotation and deposit has been received, a Thundercrete consultant will then advise of the schedule date of works.

Contract

By the customer allowing Thundercrete to commence work, it is implied that the customer has read & agreed to the Terms & Conditions of service enclosed, regardless of whether or not a written quote has been signed and returned to Thundercrete.

Any works over the value of AUD$3,300 the customer will be required to enter into and sign a Queensland Master Builders Small Building Projects Contract agreement with Thundercrete.

Payment

Thundercrete require a deposit of 50% of the total quotation prior to commencement of any works.

Payment is accepted in the form of: Cash, Cheque, BankCheque or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) / Direct Deposit. For internet banking Direct Deposit /EFT we are aware that it can take up to 3 business days for the funds to clear into the account. In such instances an email copy of the bank transfer receipt will be accepted.

Once the project has been completed, an invoice for the final payment will be provided to the customer. Final payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date. Failure to make payment will result in additional late payment fees and unpaid invoices incurring additional debt collection and/or legal debt recovery costs – and such costs will be the sole responsibility of the customer on top of the quoted/invoiced amount.

Works

Minimum job charge is $400 +GST within a 50 klm radius of Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Thundercrete do provide services to the greater South East Queensland and regional areas and travel costs will be reflected in the quotation provided.

Thundercrete will provide a customer with a competitive quotation once the competitor quotation has been provided to Thundercrete – This will help Thundercrete quote the same project works apples-for-apples.

If not pre organised with Thundercrete – all earthworks excavation, levelling, fill requirements must be completed prior to commencement of works.

Any waste and/or surplus material as result of construction works (including but not limited to; grass, top soil, fill, builders waste, timber and masonry off-cuts, excess concrete) and their removal, is the responsibility of the customer unless stated otherwise.

Obligations

On commencement of works, the customer agrees to grant Thundercrete, any of Thundercrete employees and Thundercrete subcontractors, free and unrestricted access onto the work site/property during construction and after contruction, until such time that payment in full has been received.

Services, construction material and products produced by Thundercrete will remain the property of Thundercrete until such time that payment in full has been received. If final payment is not received by the due date, Thundercrete will have the right to enter the property and reclaim any materials used for, used during or are the result of construction by Thundercrete, to recover the cost of construction to the value of the amount owing to Thunderecrete.

Concrete curing time – Thundercrete recommends that the customer gently waters the surface of the freshly laid concrete once appox 24hours after installation. It is also recommended that the concrete be left undisturbed for a period of 2-3 weeks to allow the concrete to cure and reach maximum strength – prior to any construction.

The customer grants permission for Thundercrete to take photographs of work in progress and completed work for self promotion purposes only.

Any Claim against Thunderecrete will be void in the case of; deemed inadequate engineering specified by the engineer for the project, changes to natural ground water level, changes to soil and soil conditions, plant and tree root damage, excessive ground movement, excessive weight, vehicle damage and in appropriate use. Thundercrete will ONLY accept responsibility for work in progress whilst a Thundercrete employee is on site. If no Thundercrete employee is present – then any injury occurred or damage to works on site during and after construction will not be the responsibility of Thundercrete and no-claim for damages can be made against Thundercrete. Thundercrete cannot be held responsible for the effects on, or damage to, it’s services and products produced by Thundercrete caused by weather, animals, children, vehicles or any force or effect not associated with, or not controlled by Thundercrete.
